The film is directed by Anton Corbijn, the movie is slated to be release in limited theaters on September 1st, 2010.

Academy Award winner George Clooney stars in the title part of this suspense thriller. As an assassin, Jack (played by Mr. Clooney) is constantly on the move as well as always alone. Following a job in Sweden ends more harshly than expected for this American abroad, Jack retreats to the Italian countryside. He relishes being away from death for a spell as he holes up inside a little medieval town. While there, Jack requires a project to create a weapon for any mysterious contact, Mathilde (Thekla Reuten).

Making the most of the relaxing quietude he discovers within the mountains of Abruzzo, Jack welcomes the friendship of nearby priest Father Benedetto (Paolo Bonacelli) and pursues a torrid liaison having a beautiful lady, Clara (Violante Placido). Jack and also Clara’s time with each other evolves into a romance, one seemingly totally free of danger. Yet by moving out from the shadows, Jack may be luring destiny.
