  5. haansgruber says:

They pollute Bill Hicks with that masonic american flag ideology and americanism crappola. He was not saying americanism was his ldeal, in fact exactly the opposite. He was saying think for yourself people. What an unadulterated piece of crap, piece of propaganda. Bill Hicks would tell you they are using my name to push their socialist agenda, don’t you fu*king see it?

    peace :)

I used to see him at the Comedy Workshop in Houston, along with Sam Kinnison, oh this would be 87, 88 around there. My wife at the time was a cocktail waitress there, and man, the stories she would tell about those guys!

@TRdonkeyshot We despise all reverences and all the objects of reverence which are outside the pale of our own list of sacred things. And yet, with strange inconsistency, we are shocked when other people despise and defile the things which are holy to us.

The moment that Bill Hicks stops being funny, drops you into a slice of truth, even for a split second, and makes you uncomfortable is the moment he has made you realise something you were too uncomfortable to accept.

Saw it a couple of days ago, it was great to be able to see the more personal side of his life. The pictures and narration were a real unique way of going about telling Hicks’ story. It felt like I was that young boy again who went into a record store, picked up the original release of Relentless and went, Have to give this a try!!

  25. MrUSandA says:

“wanted to save the world”……..? Come on, think of the fun Bill would have had with that line describing himself as a comedian? But anyway (forgetting this film trailer as part of the deal,) I’m gonna’ see it asap…..
